Phase I

1. Cantuzumab Mertansine

The antibody in this TAP is huC242; the effector molecule is DM1. The C242 antibody targets CanAg, which is found on a number of types of cancers including colorectal, pancreatic, gastric, and other gastrointestinal cancers, and the majority of non-small-cell lung cancers. The C242 antibody was humanized with ImmunoGen's proprietary humanization technology.

2. huN901-DM1

huN901-DM1 was created by conjugating effector molecule, DM1, with the humanized monoclonal antibody, huN901, which binds to a protein found on the surface of small cell lung cancer cells and other cancers of neuroendocrine origin.

3. huMy9-6-DM1

huMy9-6-DM1 is a TAP product candidate composed of ImmunoGen's huMy9-6 monoclonal antibody and DM1 effector molecule. ImmunoGen humanized the antibody using resurfacing technology. The CD33 antigen targeted by huMy9-6-DM1 is expressed on myeloid leukemia cells and myeloid progenitor cells. This antigen is a well-accepted acute myeloid leukemia (AML) target. In fact, the FDA has already approved one product - Mylotarg® (gemtuzumab ozogamicin) - that targets CD33 for the treatment of AML.
